Ever wondered about the hidden information stored within the barcodes on your Sunday newspaper coupons? Your curiosity ends here. Coupon Decoder Lite, a universal app, enables users to utilize the camera on their iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch (with auto-focus capability) to effortlessly scan these barcodes and promptly decipher and present all data in an easily readable format.

The lite version allows for decoding of a maximum of 10 coupons per calendar day. For unlimited decoding capabilities, the full version of Coupon Decoder is available for purchase.

 <li>Savings - Description of savings. For example: "Buy 2 Items Get $1.00 Off."</li>
 <li>Manufacturer ID - 5 to 12 digit value.</li>
 <li>Family Code - 3 digit value.</li>
 <li>Offer Code - 6 digit value.</li>
 <li>Expiration - Expiration date of the coupon, when available.</li>
 <li>Doubling Allowed - Indicates whether doubling/tripling of the savings is allowed.</li>
 <li>Alternate Eligible Product - Details on other qualifying products, when available.</li>
 <li>Other Purchase Requirement - Additional purchase requirement, if applicable.</li>

<li>Original Format - UPC-A / EAN-13:
 <ul>
 <li>Savings - Description of savings. For example: "Buy 2 Items Get $1.00 Off."</li>

 Select the appropriate barcode type from the scan tab, accompanied by sample images and verbal descriptions.
 Ensure adequate lighting.
 Position the camera approximately 3 to 4 inches away from the coupon.
 Pause and await camera focus. If necessary, shake the iPhone/iPad to prompt focus adjustment.
